Announcements

Recently one of our pitching mounds was stolen from Balfour Guthrie field.  This follows the theft of the entire equipment box at the same field a few weeks ago.  If anyone knows where the mound may have disappeared to please contact us so we can get it back.  The mounds aren't cheap, we would like to control these costs as we've had to replace a large amount of equipment this year for various reasons and it's getting expensive. 

Field Closures

Field closures are determined by the city. They can be reviewed at the below link and are generally updated by 3pm the day of the closure. If the city parks are closed for play then the school fields are closed as well. The field status can be viewed here:

BPBL Booster Club

We invite you to be part of a committee dedicated to providing a safe, wholesome environment for all of our children. Your participation is vital in the success of our league. You will be part of a team that is responsible for organizing, overseeing and implementing all the league fundraisers. All revenue will go towards field usage fees, uniforms, equipment and the ultimate goal of purchasing land Pony can call its own. We are asking for a $10 donation to join our committee, with this you will receive a Brentwood Pony Booster Club car decal be on your way to implementing our motto:
PONY - Protecting Our Nations Youth

Baseball camp

Alexander Baseball Camp will be holding their annual Summer Baseball Camp at Freedom High School from July 7-11. You can sign up and find out more information at http://alexanderbaseballcamp.com. The ages are from 7 to 15 and the fee is $125. The hours of the camp are Monday through Friday, 9am-2pm. Below you will find a camp flyer. Congratulations to BPBL Pinto Division

The Pinto all-star team from Brentwood PONY captured their 2nd consecutive Pinto division sectional championship on Tuesday night. They defeated Vacaville 4-0 and went undefeated in 4 games in the tournament.
Next is the NorCal regional tournament that begins on Saturday. Congratulations go to the coaching staff of Abel Ordaz and of course the 12 boys who represented Brentwood PONY.

2008 Fall Ball Guidelines

Brentwood Pony Baseball League is pleased to announce that the Fall Ball program will return this year. This is an opportunity to continue enhancing skills and develop new skills in a non-competitive environment. Games will be every Sunday starting in early September and end in the last Sunday in October. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn the rules and playing conditions of the division they will be playing in the spring of 2009 and for returning players to keep their skills sharp.
We are looking for players in the Pinto (age 8), Mustang (age 9/10), and Bronco (age 11/12) levels, league age as of April 30, 2009. Entry is on a first come first serve basis and is only $65. This fee will include a t-shirt, hat and lots of fun. We are also looking for volunteers to help in the coaching and teaching of these players. If you are also interested in umpiring, this would offer a great opportunity to do that.

Online Registration - we are only accepting online registration. If you have questions, problems, or can't pay online please email webmaster@brentwoodpony.org and we will make arrangements. 

Fall Ball is only open to players who participated in the spring 2008 Baseball Season with Brentwood PONY Baseball League. Please understand that this is due to registration limitations as well as insurance conditions.

Mission Statement

The mission of Brentwood PONY Baseball League is to provide a safe, wholesome environment with a balanced mix of teaching the fundamentals of the game of baseball, how to play competitively, teamwork, sportsmanship, community service and generally conduct themselves with class and respect at all times. We will treat every player, parent, spectator, umpire, coach and manager fairly and equally. Everyone involved in Brentwood PONY Baseball adheres to a Code of Conduct that promotes the well-being and a safe and healthy atmosphere for all.
